What to check, and who to contact, if no one is there to meet you at the airport.
If you've booked an airport transfer and can't see your driver when you arrive, there are a few things you can check before contacting anyone.
Am I waiting in the right place?
Meeting points vary from airport to airport. Some drivers wait in the arrivals hall, while others meet you at a specific exit, desk or meeting area. Check your documents or messages from the operator for your meeting point, and make sure you're waiting there.
Drivers usually hold a sign to help you find them. This may show your name, the operator's name or the tour name, so look out for any of these.
Where can I find my driver's or operator's contact details?
If the operator has sent final documents, these usually list the key contact numbers, which may include your driver's number and the operator's emergency contact number. You'll find them in the Attachments tab of your Booking Conversation Page.
Not all operators send documents like this. Some share these details in a message instead, so check the Messages tab too.
Who should I contact if my driver isn't there?
If you have your driver's details, contact them first. If you can't reach them, contact the operator. The operator arranges your transfer, so they're best placed to help.
If you've already been in touch with the operator on WhatsApp, which is common in some countries, that's often the quickest way to reach them. Otherwise, call their emergency contact number. Some operators also share your contact details with your driver to help your transfer go smoothly, so check your phone for any messages from them.
If you can't find these details or can't get through, our Customer Support team is here 24/7. Airport transfers are arranged directly by the operator, so we won't have your driver's details, but we can help you try to contact the operator. Contact us.
