How do I confirm that my tour has been canceled after requesting cancellation?

Find out how cancellation is confirmed, where to check your status, and what to do if you don’t hear back.

After you request to cancel your tour, here’s how to confirm the cancellation has been processed:

Communication from the operator

Your operator will reply directly in your Booking Conversation Page to confirm whether the cancellation has been accepted and if any fees apply. This usually happens within 1–3 business days.

Status update and email confirmation

  • Once the cancellation is finalized, the booking status in your Booking Conversation Page will change to: “Canceled Booking” (visible in the top right corner).
  • You’ll also receive an email confirmation once the cancellation is complete.

What if you haven’t received confirmation yet?

Be sure to regularly check your Booking Conversation Page in case the operator has replied or requested further action. For example, they may ask you to confirm acceptance of cancellation fees before finalizing the cancellation.

If you haven’t heard back within 3 business days, you can follow up with the operator via the same page.

If needed, you can also contact TourRadar’s Customer Support team for assistance. They can help ensure your request has been received and provide an update if there’s a delay.

What about refunds?

If a refund is due, it will be processed back to your original payment method according to the operator’s policy. A separate message will be sent to you once the refund has been issued.
