How do I know if my booking is confirmed?

Some tours are instantly confirmed, while others require the operator to manually confirm your booking after you submit your request.

If a tour offers instant confirmation, you’ll see the "Instant Confirmation" label above the departure date on the tour page before booking.

If there is no Instant Confirmation label, the operator will have to manually confirm the booking, subject to availability.

This is typically within 1–3 business days.

What happens after you book

After you submit your booking request, you’ll be redirected to a page that shows one of two messages:

  • Waiting for Confirmation – Your booking request has been received

  • Success – Your booking is confirmed

You’ll also receive an automated email confirming that your request has been submitted and showing the current status.

If your tour isn't instantly confirmed, your payment method will show a pending charge. The payment is only completed once the operator confirms your spot.

How to check your booking status

You can log in to your TourRadar account and go to your Booking Conversation Page to view the status.

Booking statuses include:

  • Confirmed

  • Declined by the Operator

Bookings made over the weekend may take longer to confirm, as some operators only review requests on business days.
