What to do if a booking was made under the wrong account instead of my Travel Agent account?

This guide explains how to correct a booking that was accidentally made with the wrong email address or needs to be transferred from a client to your travel agent account.

Scenario 1: You (the Agent) made a booking using the wrong email address.

If you made a booking for a client but used an incorrect email address (for example, a personal email, one with a typo, or an old address), please contact us to have it corrected.

To request the transfer:

  • Within the same calendar month: Please contact us as soon as possible at agents@tourradar.com so we can process the transfer quickly.
  • Outside the calendar month: For exceptions outside the calendar month of the booking date, please email us at agents@tourradar.com, and our team will assist you if it’s possible to transfer.

Scenario 2: Your client booked themselves and wants you to manage the booking.

If your client made a booking on their own and would now like you to handle it, they must first authorize us to transfer the booking to you.

Instructions for the Agent:

  1. Please ask your client to send us a message through their confirmed TourRadar booking (Booking Conversation Page).
  2. In their message, the client must authorize you to take over the booking and provide the following details:
    • Booking Reference ID
    • Your full Travel Agent name
    • Your Travel Agent email address
    • Your Travel Agency's company name

Once we receive authorization from your client, please send us a message agents@tourradar.com to request the booking transfer to your account.

Please include the following information:

  • Booking Reference ID
  • Your client's email address
  • Your client's full name

Important Notes:

  • Please ensure you have an active and registered Travel Agent account with TourRadar. We cannot transfer bookings to a non-agent account.
  • It is crucial to report any booking errors as soon as possible to ensure commissions are assigned correctly and to avoid issues with booking management.
