Stay connected during your travels with a free 1GB eSIM included in your booking. Follow these simple steps to redeem, install, and manage your eSIM using the TourRadar mobile app.
TourRadar has partnered with Celitech, a leading eSIM provider, to offer travelers a free 1GB eSIM with every booking.
Step 1: Check if your phone supports eSIMs
Before redeeming your eSIM, ensure your phone is unlocked and supports eSIM technology.
- View the list of supported devices (opens in a new tab).
- Minimum software requirements: iOS 12 or higher.
Step 2: Download the TourRadar app
The eSIM can only be redeemed through the TourRadar app.
- Download the TourRadar app (opens in a new tab) for iOS or Android.
- Log in using the same email you used for your booking.
Step 3: Redeem your free eSIM
Your eSIM will be available 72 hours before your tour starts. When it's ready, you will receive:
- An email with activation instructions - keep an eye out in your inbox (and spam folder)
- A push notification from the TourRadar app (if the app is installed)
To redeem your eSIM:
Once you have received the notification the eSIM is ready to be installed:
- Open the TourRadar app and log in.
- Tap “Redeem eSIM” on the home screen or in the account menu.
- A new screen will appear with eSIM details and a 'Redeem eSIM' button.
- Tap 'Redeem eSIM'
- If your device does not support eSIMs, you will see an error message and a link to the supported devices list.
Step 4: Install your eSIM
- On the 'Activate eSIM' page - tap 'Continue' to redeem the eSIM.
Once redeemed, follow the installation instructions based on your device:
- Automatic Setup (for most iPhones, Pixel, and newer Androids)
- The phone will navigate to settings with the eSIM pre-filled for easy activation.
- Manual Setup (for devices that don’t auto-install)
- Scan the QR code sent to your email to complete installation.

Step 5: Manage your eSIM and check your data
After activation:
The 'Redeem eSIM' option in the app will change to 'Manage eSIM'
To manage your eSIM:
- Open the TourRadar app.
- Tap 'Manage eSIM' from the home screen or menu.
- The 'Manage eSIM' page will open, allowing you to
- View your remaining data balance.
- Top up your data plan
How to top up your eSIM:
- Open the TourRadar app and go to 'Manage eSIM'
- Tap 'Top up' to open the Celitech portal (the eSIM provider).
- Your TourRadar booking email will be pre-filled — do not change it, especially if you booked using Apple Sign-In.
- Complete the payment through Celitech.
Important: The eSIM is linked to the exact email used for your TourRadar booking. If you booked using Apple’s “Hide My Email” you must use that same Apple alias for top-ups. Changing the email may cause errors or prevent the eSIM from loading.
eSIM validity and expiration
- You can activate your eSIM only 72 hours before departure.
- Once activated, it’s valid for 30 days after your tour ends.
- If you have multiple back-to-back tours, you’ll receive a separate eSIM for each booking.
