What happens to my pre-authorised funds if my booking isn't able to be confirmed?

When you place a booking on TourRadar, your credit card or PayPal account will be pre-authorised for the payment amount so we can officially take payment once your booking is confirmed. If we are unable to confirm your booking, we will be in touch with you via your Booking Conversation Page to find an alternative adventure or departure date. Should there be no other suitable options, or you wish to decline the booking request, the pre-authorisation on your funds will be voided with the bank and released to your account, usually within 3 - 7 business days (depending on the speed of your bank). If you have any specific questions about pre-authorisation, we suggest you contact your credit card provider, as every bank has different policies around pre-authorisation.
